Bears vs. Seahawks Fundraiser at Brownstone Tavern & Grill October 17th
Brownstone Tavern & Grill, one of our favorite neighborhood hot spots, graciously offered to hold a Bears vs. Seahawks viewing party fundraiser for us. Over 30 FRIENDS OF FILBERT PLAYLOT PARK supporters were there, and we added 25+ more supporters to our cause! In all, the party was a hit (despite the Bears' loss) and we raised close to $1,000 towards the community portion of our playground renovations costs!

He and his staff were great hosts and we appreciate their support! We'd like to also thank the Executive Director of Black Bear Academy, Maureen Black, for sponsoring her teachers at the event.
