May 14 Sips and Dips for Filbert Park
Casey and Utkarsh Patel, FRIENDS OF FILBERT PLAYLOT PARK supporters who live near the playground, hosted a fundraising party on Saturday, May 14th. The event was a hit – over 30 people had a great time meeting their neighbors and hearing the latest updates regarding our playground renovation.
One of the highlights of the evening was having the 47th Ward’s new Alderman, Ameya Pawar, and his Chief of Staff, Charna Epstein, join us for the event. Alderman Pawar told attendees that he fully supports our cause and will do what he can to assist us going forward. We sincerely appreciate Alderman Pawar and Charna making time to join us.
