The FRIENDS OF FILBERT PLAYLOT PARK Advisory Council attended the Park District’s North Region Budget Forum on July 28th at Hamlin Park.  We presented our fundraising and progress updates to Patrick Townsend, North Region Manager, and Brian Loll, Area 6 Manager, of the Park District.  Our Community is moving ahead on all cylinders and hopes to complete our fundraising shortly so we can build the new playground in 2012.  Katie Fearon-Peon, our Park District Supervisor, was there as well and shared several developments with our Aldermanic money and the concept designs for the new playground.
