Friends of the Parks and the Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Chicago inspected 479 Chicago Park District playgrounds in 2010. Staff trained by certified playground inspectors inspected each playground and completed a written survey of their conditions. Filbert Playlot Park received a failing score of 64% - a score of 70% and higher is considered passing.
